I choose to concentrate on things like this on days like these. If I were to try to contemplate the reasons on why and how a thing like this could happen, I’d get lost in a sea of terror. As much as I like to joke about hating people, as a whole we’re a pretty good lot, and people rising up and doing things for their fellow citizens brings me peace and hope on an otherwise scary day.
I am glad the people I know are safe. I hope the people you know are too. My heart goes out to the city and all those affected.
Also please note that I would trust Perez Hilton before I’d trust the NY Post. A lot of information gets thrown around haphazardly, make sure it’s the right info before you panic.
